The story behind my Teslatray

Back in 2014 we got our first Tesla. Just loved the car and it's instant torque. There was one problem. No center console and that shelf under the screen quickly got named "catapult shelf". It was driving me nuts to pick up keys, phone and other small items from the floor every time I touched the accelerator.

No solution existed and I had to fix this myself. A drawer like the ones in boat kitchens that doesn't slide out was my plan. I took some cardboard and started designing in the car. The first functional (but not pretty) fabric covered drawer got a lot of interest and many asked me to make one for sale. A few weeks later on April 19th 2015 I had the design ready

- a drawer that stayed in place by friction, easy to pull out and looked good.

8 years later 1500 handmade Teslatrays are delivered to customers in 29 different countries. Thank you for your support ❤
